I am a dual-certified Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner. I have over 20 years of healthcare experience. I earned my Bachelors in Nursing in 2000 from Salisbury University (GO GULLS!!). In 2008, I earned my Masters from Wilmington University and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2010 I decided to go back to school for further education related to the Emergency Department and in 2012 I earned my Acute Care NP Post Masters Degree. I have spent most of my career in the ER but I do enjoy the extended time I get to spend with my patients in the Primary Care setting. I enjoy learning new things every day and am quick to pick up new skills. I am equally comfortable working as part of a team as I work on my own towards a goal. As a long-time ER Nurse, I am not afraid to speak up for myself or my patients. I enjoy teaching and helping my patients achieve the best health they can.
